Wind Storm

A huge pine tree on the church lawn blew down.
Grammas Cafe had a tree blow down and split it in half.  It did not go all the way through the building, but went about 1/2 way through.
The house next to the Cafe had a tree fall within feet of it.  The family of 4 was home at the time.

Roughing It

Hunter decided that we were not getting enough camping in this summer so we set up the tent on the tramp and slept out.  It was really rough.  Actually about 3:00 a.m. I woke up freezing, with Hunter basicly laying on top of me. I got a sleeping bag and put it below us and we slept great the rest of the night.  Trig only lasted about 5 minutes before he decided to join mom.

Camping with the Broederlows @ Wood River

Finally we are able to go on our first camping trip of the year.  This spring has been very cold,  had snow later then normal on the mountains.  We went up to Wood River, above Meeteetse to camp with Leonard and Kims  Family.  Shae came along with us.  Besides a few vehicle problems it was alot of fun.

New Camera

For my Birthday Kelli got me a new camera.  It was a very nice gift, and will help me keep up with my blog.  Thanks Honey.

New Pickup

Recently I purchased a 1995 pickup from Royden Jones.  It is a 1 ton 7.3L Powerstroke Desiel.  I also sold "Old Red" to Ross Mickelson to help pay for the truck.  I am excited to finally have a 4x4.

Fall Projects

This is an old table that we bought from Dirty Annies on the way up the mountains.  This is what it looked like when we got it.  I put dowels in it, sanded it, and painted it.
I put a lid on my horse trailer, painted it and put the symbol of Grandpa Bobs brand.

Our completed porch with tables and swings.

On our porch I built three hanging swings so we have somewhere to sit.

This is a picture of the finished product.  We love our porch.  It feels like a great addition to our house.
