Hunter makes the front page again. This time Hunter made the front page of the Worland

JOE DIRT
For Halloween I decided to dress up like a handsome man. It was weird to have a little hair. Needless to say I really don't mind being bald after a day with that mop on.
Ward Harvest Dinner
For the ward harvest dinner someone got the idea of having me cook dutch oven desserts for everyone.
My brother Wade and Neighbor Les Allen were in charge of cooking the burgers. When we were done we had at least 4 apple crisps left over.
WE HAD A TOTAL OF 12 APPLE CRISPS. I BUILT THE DUCTH OVEN TABLE OUT OF AN OLD DESK THAT KELLI FOUND SOMEWHERE, SORRY HUN.
A CLOSER LOOK AT ALL OF THE DUTCH OVENS.
THIS SET A RECORD FOR ME OF # OF DUTCH OVENS USED.OUR NEIGHBOR AND GOOD FRIEND LES ALLEN ON HAMBURGER DUTY.

Welcome home Grandpa and Grandma
We are excited to welcome Grandma and Grandpa home from their mission in the Ukraine. They served an 18 month mission, and we are excited to have them back.
Trigdon was only 6 months old when Grandpa and Grandma left, so we made a sign that reads " Remember Me, My name is Trigdon". Even though Trig didnt remember Grandpa and Grandma he was excited.
Stepping of the plane was exciting for everyone. We were happy to see Grandpa and Grandma after a year and a half. They were tired after a 30+ hour flight.
Grandpa is staying true to form as he goes for the double head lock. Its good to see you still have your moves Dad.
Happy Birthday Trigdon
For Trigdon's Birthday we had alot to do.
To make sure we had enough energy we stopped and grabbed ourselves some icecream.
Then we went up to Aunt Jennie's house on the bench to pick apples for Mom. Trigdon and Aunt Jennie got along great. Thanks Aunt Jennie for the great apples.
Trigdon takes after his dad and loves cheese cake. Mom made trigdon a great tasting cake.
Olson Reunion 2011
We had another great year hanging out at the Olson Family Reunion. It is always fun to get together and enjoy each other company.
Mom and Trigdon are excited about the stick horse rodeo. Uncle Tony not so much. Trig did seem to find every root and hole to trip him up, and his face shows the proof.
Hunter takes off out of the gates on this trusty steed Lady as the crowd stares in amazement. Man was he fast.
Trigdon is trying to keep the crowd under control during the main event.
Trigdon is showing everyone how to shoot a BB gun. Watch out everyone.
Old Eagle Eyes Hunter concentrates on the can. He hit the can several times and even offered to give his Dad shooting lessons.
Well we thought we were doing good shooting until Kelli shows up and hits all of the targets. Its not fair that Mom is such a good shot.
Thanks to Uncle Sam we were able to take a ride up the mountian on his dirt bike.
The two that we owe our thanks to for putting the reunion on every year. Thank You Aunt Francie and Uncle Ken. We appreciate all of your hard work, and willingness to share. Just a side note: These two seemed busier then ever helping out with Jill and Jakes twins.

Me riding Lady my horse and using Albert horse Cowboy to help pack into the Lakes of the Rough.
I went with Peter and Susan Davidson and family, and Alanna Powers
Tim, Alanna, Daniel
Because we packed in we ate well. We even ate a few Dutch Oven meals.
A picture of Lady and Cowboy picketed above camp. The horses really didnt care for the 3 thunderstorms that we had.
A sunset picture of one of the lakes.
Tim and I hiked into Golden Lake where the trout have golden spots

Main Lake at lakes of the rough. It is high enough to still have snow.

EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT
Hunter and his good friend Joel Neves made the front page of the Basin Paper. They both decided that they wanted to ride their bikes through the parade. Hunter asked me if I could tape a bucket on his bike so he could throw candy while he drove. I figured he would wreck, but the did great. We always knew we had a star living at our house.

Summer School
This summer I signed up for summer school. I was incharge of enrichment with a curriculum called "Camp Invention". It is a fun program that the students seem to love. I guess if I have to go to school in the summer then it helps to have fun.
A few summer Projects
This summer in my free time I have been doing a few projects for people in the community.
This is a glorified dog house that I built for Kay Neves. It has kennels built inside for 8 dogs and doors so they can go out in runs for the outside.
Side View
This is a before and after of an addition I sided. After this I sided one small shed, and am currently siding a house.
In addition to doing siding I painted my first house.

Wind Storm
A huge pine tree on the church lawn blew down.
Grammas Cafe had a tree blow down and split it in half. It did not go all the way through the building, but went about 1/2 way through.
The house next to the Cafe had a tree fall within feet of it. The family of 4 was home at the time.
Roughing It
Hunter decided that we were not getting enough camping in this summer so we set up the tent on the tramp and slept out. It was really rough. Actually about 3:00 a.m. I woke up freezing, with Hunter basicly laying on top of me. I got a sleeping bag and put it below us and we slept great the rest of the night. Trig only lasted about 5 minutes before he decided to join mom.
